Holiday on Campus

Holiday on Campus is an event geared toward the children of LSU staff, faculty and students. There will be arts and crafts, games, free food, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus and much more. This is a free event, however, we encourage guests to bring a non-perishable food donation for the LSU Food Pantry and/or a new toy (unwrapped) for donation to the OLOL Childrens Hospital and/or Diapers for the Baton Rouge Diaper Bank.

Holiday Decorating Contest

Staff Senate invites you to participate in our annual Holiday Decorating Contest!

This year's theme is "Mike's Holiday Tunes/Toons"

The deadline to register is Monday, December 16, 2024

Judging will begin on Thursday, December 19, 2024

Decorate a bulletin board, door, box(es), your choice in size and fill it with non-perishable food items to be donated to the LSU Food Pantry. 

There is no entry fee and decorations will be judged on creativity and appearance.

1st and 2nd place ribbons and one "Best in Show" will be awarded. There will also be an Honorable Mention awarded for the most individual food items donated.

The items most needed included peanut butter, granola bars, rice, and boxed/canned ready-to-eat meals. 

We encourage you to get creative with your departments and have fun while supporting the LSU Food Pantry.
