Components

Components are a form-based type of reusable content that allows non-HTML content managers to leverage complex styling or coding.

To use a component:

  1. When in Edit mode, place cursor in the location you would like the feature to appear
  2. Select "Insert Component"
  3. Select the Component
  4. Add content to the Component Fields

When I first became a resident assistant (RA) at LSU, I didn’t expect the experience to shape the biggest project of my college career. However, the leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills I developed through working for Residential Life became the foundation of my role as a producer of “Mysterious Behaviors,” LSU’s first-ever feature-length film.

LSU engineering students built MuniciPal, an app that helps residents report and track local infrastructure issues like potholes and broken streetlights. Their research-driven capstone project bridges communication gaps and streamlines public works repairs.

LSU is proud to announce its selection for the 2nd year as an Institute Partner for the 2025 Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders. Beginning in mid-June, LSU will host 25 of Africa's emerging Civic Engagement leaders for a six-week Leadership Institute, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.

The LSU Enterprise has announced the appointment of Dr. David Guzick as its new Chief Research Officer, effective May 15, 2025. Dr. Guzick previously served as Chancellor of LSU Health Shreveport and brings a distinguished background in academic medicine, research leadership, and innovation to this newly elevated role.
