As an LSU alumna, I know firsthand how amazing this university can be for a student. I’ve made friends, earned my degree, and started my career under the stately oaks and broad magnolias.

There’s something so full circle about using the skills and experience I’ve gained during my time at LSU to help students succeed. Plus who wouldn’t want to work at a place with a live tiger?

My Ready to Roar advice

Gaining experience isn't just about perfecting your craft – it's about finding out what you like and don't like. Seek out new opportunities early, even if they feel out of your comfort zone. That's where growth (and the best stories!) happens. 

How I create conditions that matter

Students today are pulled in a million directions, juggling classes, jobs, and a growing list of "should probably look into that" items. I create conditions that matter for student success by meeting them where their attention already is, making sure the right message reaches them at the right moment instead of waiting to be found. When students don't have to dig for what matters, they can spend that energy on what's next.

If I didn't have this job, I'd be a maternity and newborn photographer. There is something so special about celebrating new life in
this world and capturing these moments on camera.
